Is it possible to be a dedicated homeschooling mom while still making time for myself as an individual (a girlie girl who likes cute shoes)? I like to think so. Follow along, and I'll let you know for sure.

Trust me . . . it's not ALL about the shoes.

Homeschooling in Orlando - OMA

Seems like I can barely keep up with all the different homeschooling days, classes and programs the local attractions are offering these days . . . so I thought I'd start a special feature on Homeschooling in Orlando.

Today, we visited the Orlando Museum of Art for their monthly Art Adventures class, so that seems like a good place to start.

Located in Loch Haven Park, Orlando's cultural center, the Orlando Museum of Art offers a variety of preschool and homeschool programs designed to introduce kids to art. More than just an art class, their programs teach kids about different art concepts, mediums and vocabulary.

Art Adventures
Ages 3-5 with grownup ($10/adult, 1st child free, $3/2nd child) Every Tuesday (beginning September 8) at 9:30 am and at 1pm
Join us every week or for just one fun playdate that uses all your senses to explore the OMA! Specially designed gallery hunts, games and stories make art come alive! A different adventure is offered each week to engage you and your child with works of art. Afterwards create a special work of art in the studio related to the gallery lesson.

Storytime in the Gallery
