Apple Mummy - Week 1

Yes, you read that title correctly. We made apple "mummies" in our SLC co-op last week and are checking them every Monday to see how they're being preserved. There was definitely a difference between the experiment cup and the control cup today, but it was actually the opposite of what we expected. We knew the desiccant would draw the moisture out the apple slice, but somehow, we expected it to look more well-preserved than the control. More to come next week . . .
