Is it possible to be a dedicated homeschooling mom while still making time for myself as an individual (a girlie girl who likes cute shoes)? I like to think so. Follow along, and I'll let you know for sure.

Trust me . . . it's not ALL about the shoes.

Mexico

Hola amigos! We continued our study of Mexico yesterday with a trip to EPCOT, where we explored the Mexican pavilion, browsed the local market, enjoyed lunch with friends - and of course, got our passport stamped. The Disney parks, EPCOT in particular, are a homeschooler's paradise! We've been going once a month to enhance our geography studies, and it amazes me that we can spend a full day just in one country!

Noah loves science and has a particular fascination with a recycling activity currently set up in Innoventions and an anatomy game at the end of Spaceship Earth. It seems like we rarely have time for these activities, so we're planning to add an additional EPCOT day to our monthly calendar just to study science. In addition to the area at the end of Spaceship Earth, there are two Innoventions areas with hands-on science activities, as well as Ellen's Energy Adventure ride.
