Is it possible to be a dedicated homeschooling mom while still making time for myself as an individual (a girlie girl who likes cute shoes)? I like to think so. Follow along, and I'll let you know for sure.

Trust me . . . it's not ALL about the shoes.

Homeschool Buyer Co-op

One of my homeschool groups has recently established a group buy program, harnessing the buying power of its members to secure reduced pricing on curriculum. Our first buy was such a great deal, that it sent me searching for others, and I stumbled onto a fantastic site.

The Homeschool Buyer Co-op is a free homeschooling organization for both new and veteran homeschoolers. Co-op membership is free and entitles homeschooling families to discounts from over a hundred educational suppliers. They also sponsor group buys for curriculum packages that save homerschooling families lots of money. On the site, you'll find free information, such as databases of free curriculum, field trips and educational contests and scholarships. Click here for more information.

I'm already planning to renew our IXL membership here at a 40% discount. If you visit and create a free account, please use my referral number (65626). For every person you refer, you earn 100 points to spend on curriculum!
